Media and Entertainment Technologies Laboratory

The Media and Entertainment Technologies Lab (METLAB) at Michigan State University explores the use of multimedia and virtual and augmented reality  technologies in business, entertainment, and educational applications.   Augmented reality is the modification of our perception of reality using computer technologies.  Common technologies include modifying camera images displayed on monitors and the use of head-mounted displays that allow you to see things that are not really there.

The METLAB is directed by Dr. Charles B. Owen, Associate Professor, Computer Science and Engineer, Michigan State University.
